Funding/Eligibility Criteria 2012/2013 - VTCT and NVQ Courses

If you would like to study for one of our VTCT Nail Technology Courses or NVQ Level in Nail Services or Beauty we have either full or part funding available for students who meet certain qualifying criteria as listed below.

Currently, we run our VTCT Courses in the areas shown on the course page; however, our funded NVQ courses are only available in Nottingham so you should really only apply if you are able to travel to Nottingham for either two days per week (Nails) or three days (Beauty).


Qualifying Criteria for VTCT Nail Technology Courses and NVQ Nail Services or Beauty Therapy - Level 2

 You can receive full funding for your course if you are:

  • Over 19 - unemployed and on active benefits such as Job Seekers Allowance or Housing Benefit (please note Disability Living Allowance is not covered)
  • Between 19 and 23 and do not possess an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification

Co-funding is available if you are:

  • Over 24 and do not have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Over 24 and are qualified to Level 2 or above standard.

 

Qualifying Criteria for NVQ Nail Services - Level 3

You can receive full funding for your course if you are:

  • Over 19 - unemployed and on active benefits such as Job Seekers Allowance or Housing Benefit (please note Disability Living Allowance is not covered)
  • Between 19 and 24 and do not have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Co-funding is available if you are:

  • Between 19 and 24 and have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Are over 25 without an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Are over 25 with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

 

Co-Funded Courses

If you do not meet the criteria above, then you may be eligible for a co-funded place.

The course cost is £450 for VTCT Nail Tech courses and £350 for both NVQ Nail Services and NVQ Beauty, plus you'll need to buy a kit which costs £305 for Nails and £320 for Beauty.
